The federal cabinet of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) announced two new visas on Sunday. One is a remote work Residency visa that professionals can use to reside in the UAE because they connect to work overseas virtually. The other is a multiple-entry tourist visa that is open to all nationalities.
A one-year visa permits overseas to enter the UAE and work in line with terms and conditions issued with the visa. The new scheme aims to aid the public and private sectors and allow employees to expand their digital skills and modify to the emerging gig marketplace.
Vice president and prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, said the new scheme aims to strengthen the UAE’s status as a global economic capital. This came as Sheikh Mohammed chaired a Cabinet meeting on Sunday. Basically, the Remote work visa allows foreign remote working specialists reside in the UAE as they connect to work abroad virtually. The new visa scheme are the latest in a string of reforms announced recently to enhance the economy and assist traders, entrepreneurs, qualified individuals, and families.
Throughout Sunday’s meeting in Qsar Al Watan, the cabinet also announced is multiple-entry tourist visas. This self-sponsored five-year visa will permit all nationalities to enter the country multiple times. They will be able to stay for 90 days which can be renewed for another 90 days.
The vice president of UAE also added that we are working with a clear objective to enhance our financial situation worldwide and offer the most excellent quality of life to our residents and citizens. Residence for overseas, who build up a majority of the United Arab Emirates 9 million population, has been mostly connected to trade inside the nation, with workers sponsoring families. Most of the overseas workers required to aid trade in Dubai’s real estate, services, and retail sectors, left last year after organizations severed jobs.
This news is just announced; it may be implemented in UAE after few months.
