The Sylhet International Stadium in Bangladesh would host the 2022 women’s Asian Cup from 1 October to 16 October, with 7 teams involved in the tournament. The 7 teams’ match will be held after the 2022 women’s World Cup Qualifiers. ESPN Cricinfo even reported that India, Pakistan, Thailand, Sri Lanka, UAE, and Malaysia are the competing countries apart from the home side.

The competition would manage 7 teams competing for the trophy. The teams would play round-robin matches against each other. Every team would play 6 matches, with the top four qualifying for the two semi-finals, hence making it the longest women’s Asia Cup.
